I m again into writing .......

As people need to know about our rich tradition of  Hindu culture. This right of knowing our culture, tradition and off course knowledge.

I am starting with Ancient Indian Universities....

                                               Ancient Indian Universities

Hindustan ,Bharat or India is recognized to be one of the oldest and well survived civilizations on the earth. Bharat, during  ancient time was a center for higher learning in world. People from all parts of world 

India's great contribution in the field of Mathematics, Astrology, Astronomy, and other sciences. Vedic science,especially Vimanika Shastra by Rishi Bhardwaja and Narada was so advanced that it could be compared with the present day’s scientific inventions. But, India could not able to do more research on this. 
Education held great significance in Indian society since the Vedic period. Gurukuls and ashrams by rushies were the main centers of learning.
Many universities flourished in ancient India, including the world-famous Takshashila and Nalanda universities.
Students from far-off regions including foreign lands used to come to study in India’s old universities. These universities in ancient India are true examples of our glorious past.

1. Nalanda University (425 AD -1205 AD)

2. Takahashila (600BC-500BC),now in Pakistan

3. Vikramshila University (800 AD – 1203 AD)

4. Vallabhi University (600 AD – 1200 AD)

 5.Jagaddala University (1084 AD – 1207 AD),now in Bangladesh

6.Nagarjuna Vidyapeeth (600 AD)

7.Kanthalloor University (1000 AD – 1300 AD)

8. Odantapuri University

9. Pushpagiri University

10. Somapura Mahavihara University

11. Sharada Peeth Temple University

All the above were center for higher education for all over the world during ancient and medieval period in India.
when Europe and America were in dark phase of life, Indians were enjoying modern technology and world highest GDP.
