Lilavatis legacy- Heritage of Indian Women Scientist

Good Afternoon,
Nice to be back,
Indian as much said that are only house wives, they become capable only after English people came in India. But this is not the truth as we went back to history one may find that women enjoy the liberty, equality and above all they were intellectually also respected.
Gargi, Maitrey and Lopmudra are few among est the vedic age. Maitrey Upanishads are even accepted and thought during vedic period. Lilavati a daughter of great mathematician Bhaskarachary -II is also known as a women mathematician 1000 years back.
In modern world right from Dr. Anandibai Joshi, a first women lady doctor of India, Dr. Asima Chatterji,  to today's Dr. Mitali mukerji and Dr. Kiran Mujumdar Shaw and many more are those women who showed the strength of the women scientist across the world.
Indian Women will bring more light and success in the world of science.
